First China-Europe Express Train of the Yangtze River Delta in the New Year Departed from Yiwu

At 10:00 a.m. on Jan. 1, Yiwu China-Europe Express Train X8410, loaded with 110 TEUs of daily necessities, auto parts, machinery and equipment, and other exported goods, departed from West Yiwu Railway Station, and it would exit China via Erenhot Port to Khovrino, Russia. That was the first China-Europe Express train departing from the Yangtze River Delta in 2025.

In 2024, the Yiwu China-Europe Express made a total of 1,300 trips (including return trips) and transported more than 140,000 TEUs of goods, nearly 10,000 TEUs more than that in 2023, with a year-on-year growth of more than 10%. At present, the Yiwu China-Europe (including Central Asia) Express has opened 20 transportation routes, reaching more than 50 counties in Europe and Asia, such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Germany. The categories of goods transported by the Yiwu China-Europe Express have increased from more than 10,000 at the initial stage to more than 50,000 now.
