Largest Supercharging Station Put into Operation in the Downtown Area of Yiwu

On Dec. 28, the Xinma Road Supercharging Station was officially put into operation. It is the first and largest supercharging station in the downtown area, which will effectively alleviate the new energy vehicle owners’ anxiety about energy replenishment, meet the charging needs of new energy vehicles such as electric taxis and cars for online hailing service, and further expand the new energy application scenarios in Yiwu.

This supercharging station is located at the intersection of Xinma Road and Kangyuan Road and roofed with blue distributed PV panels which make the whole charging station look modern. Covering a land area of about 4,000 m2, the charging station has 50 charging spaces, 56 parking stalls, 2 sets of Huawei supercharging equipment, and 4 sets of Gresgying quick-charging equipment, with a daily maximum charging capacity of 13,000 kWh of electricity, which can meet the charging needs of more than 500 vehicles per day. Among the equipments, the Huawei liquid-cooled supercharging piles in the station can bring vehicle owners a super-fast charging experience of “one kilometer per second”, and a vehicle can be fully charged in 15 minutes at the fastest, allowing the vehicle owner to “set off on a full charge after enjoying a cup of milk tea”.
