Jinhua, known as Wuzhou in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city in Zhejiang Province. It is one of the 27 cities in the central area of the Yangtze River Delta[1]. It was established as a county since the 25th year of Emperor Qin Dynasty (222 years ago), because it is located in the two stars of Venus and Wife “The place of competition for China” is named Jinhua, or Jin for short, and was called Wuzhou in ancient times. It is geographically located in the middle of Zhejiang Province, with coordinates of 119°14′-120°46′30” east longitude and 28°32′-29°41′ north latitude. Wucheng District and Jindong District 2 municipal districts, Lanxi City, Yiwu City, Dongyang City, Yongkang City 4 county-level cities and Wuyi County, Pujiang County, Pan’an County and 3 counties, with a total area of 10941.42 square kilometers
In 2011, the Jinhua-Yiwu metropolitan area was identified as the fourth metropolitan area in Zhejiang Province, and it is planned to become a megacity with more than 2 million people in 2020. The Jinhua culture belongs to the Wuyue culture, and the Jinhua people belong to the Jiangsu-Zhejiang ethnic group and use Wu dialect. In the 2012 ranking of the best commercial cities in mainland China announced by Forbes, Jinhua ranked 33rd in the country and was one of the 25 most innovative cities in mainland China. On January 29, 2013, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China listed Jinhua as the first batch of smart city pilot projects. At the same time, Jinhua is also a national-level historical and cultural city, one of China’s top ten livable cities, and a central city in the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor. In 2019, Jinhua City’s GDP was 455.99 billion yuan.
