As a node city of “the Belt and Road”, Yiwu is making a contribution to the world war against “epidemic”and becoming a global anti-epidemic material supply platform. After the outbreak of the epidemic, the Municipal Tax Department carried out targeted tax relief policy guidance for various groups. During the visit, it was learned that foreign businessman Hami’s motherland Iran was affected by the epidemic, and the Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs was urgently sending out a procurement list to Iranian businessmen in China, asking for assistance in procurement. At the same time, relying on the big tax data, it quickly found the local production enterprises with the qualification of disposable medical masks in Yiwu. In just three days, it produced 80,000 disposable medical masks with a total value of about 130,000 yuan, and donated them to Iran free of charge through Hami.
“China’s ‘The Belt and Road’ initiative of ‘jointly discussing, building and sharing’ makes me feel more profoundly.” Hami said. He didn’t expect that, he only mentioned that Iran is in short supply of anti-epidemic materials, and a week later, Yiwu helped raise 80,000 masks.
